![]() Self-awareness isn’t about being able to tell the difference between what your mind is telling you and what your body is telling you. When you are truly self-aware, you are able to see yourself and your own feelings clearly. Deception is when the mind is telling you one thing and the body is telling you another. Deception is just being blind to your own feelings. The opposite of self-awareness is self-deception. I have seen this happen to me personally when I have had to deal with situations that I thought I could handle.īut it’s also about being able to feel when you do something wrong. ![]() ![]() This allows them to be more empathic and compassionate, which in turn gives them the ability to handle their own feelings. One of the biggest benefits I have seen from people who have been self-aware is that they can handle the emotions that come with learning that you are one with your thoughts and feelings. I have seen the results of self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-love on the physical, mental, and spiritual health of those that I have worked with. Each of us is an individual, and so is our own journey to achieving the ideal health of our own mind, body, and spirit. ![]() I have a very simple philosophy when it comes to health. ![]()
